Abstract

Media and war, two words intertwined throughout different historical eras, the media played a vital and pivotal role in managing wars and armed conflicts, the media was employed as a means of mobilization and mobilization, preparation and control of events, organizing the flow of information, mobilizing consensus among the elites, and psychological warfare, and to the extent that techniques and tools have developed Wars throughout the different historical eras, technologies and media have developed to the same extent. At the present time, the importance of the media in managing wars and armed conflicts has increased due to the spread of digital media and social media (new media), and the media in the current era, known as the era of crises, has become the most important tools for managing wars and conflicts.
