The healthcare sector is undergoing rapid digital transformations to achieve Saudi Vision 2030 goals. However, the success of these initiatives depends on organizational readiness to enhance performance and overcome resistance to change. This study aimed to measure the level of organizational readiness for digital transformation across its dimensions (strategic, technological, human) at the Maternity and Children Hospital in Al-Kharj, and test its impact on improving job performance and reducing resistance to change, while identifying demographic differences. The study adopted a quantitative descriptive-analytical approach, utilizing an electronic questionnaire distributed to a random sample of (278) medical, technical, and administrative employees. The results showed that organizational readiness was moderate (3.174), with a clear gap in human readiness. The study demonstrated that digital transformation improved performance efficiency (3.43) but faced challenges in task speed. Findings proved a positive impact of readiness on improving performance, explaining (30.5%) of the variance, with human readiness being the strongest driver. Conversely, readiness in its current dimensions did not statistically reduce resistance to change, reflecting the need for behavioral management. Consequently, the study recommended re-engineering training programs based on actual tasks, developing system interfaces to reduce cognitive load, adopting behavioral change management strategies with psychological support, and designing customized support programs for physicians and older employees.
