Abstract

Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are among the most important economic pillars of development and are a strategic objective adopted by any State because of their vital role in economic development and addressing the problems of poverty and unemployment. The study addresses the impact of the Government’s role in the development of small and medium-sized enterprises in the Arab Republic of Egypt by applying to some governorates that rank first in poverty in the Republic of Egypt, as well as highlighting some areas with a large number of small and medium-sized enterprises in several areas Short and long-term.
